If you have not yet received an announcement, please email me here and include your mailing address.

Georgia and stuff.

So beth thinks its cool that she can be in Georgia and still make a blog entry thingy.

Mackenzie sits on the couch and reads a magazine and doesn't think it's cool, so therefore doesn't want to write anything.
(She likes all that cool technology stuff, so she's kind of jaded.)

We're in Georgia, and it's storming. I was hoping for a tornado, but I don't think that's going to happen. It's been fun down here, and I don't want to come home..but we're leaving on Tuesday.

We went to the mall yesterday and saw Mission: Impossible 3. It was really weird being able to come back and see everything- alot has changed. They've cut down so many trees..apparently there's a new Kohls coming in and they had to clear an entire forest. I saw it, and it looks strange.

Since kenz won't write, I'll write for her:

This has been like SO tOtAllY awesummm!!! I like saW anna -n- stuff and we like went to the mall and chillEd.

Okay, that was fun.

12 Inches of Snow

Last night, the forecast said we were supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow. Expecting four, we woke up to twelve inches of snow. After shovelling the sidewalks, we ventured out to the back roads to look at the scenery. We drove down a back road only to find that our four-wheel drive wasn't working. Driving East to find deep snow, we stopped at an Irish pub to fill our stomachs with Shepherds' Pie and Bangers N' Mash.

Here are some pictures of the morning of shovelling snow with Wishbone.

Today, Mackenzie and Mama set up our Christmas Tree and decorated it, while I (Beth) took pictures. Daddy played video games.
SCHOOL HAS STARTED! WHEE!

Um. School has started, it is evil because I have to get up at an unearthly hour. I go to Quince Orchard High School, in Gaithersburg.

Daddy and I just got back from a motorcycle ride, along some back roads. About half of the way through, a bird hit me in the face on my helmet. Feathers in the mouth are not a pleasant experience.

School starts on Monday..I have orientation tomorrow, at 7:30. I wasn't aware that time existed (?). 9th grade pictures are tomorrow too, which is kinda weird. I guess nothing's normal in public school, so what can I say? ;)

I haven't died...

Okay, so since I haven't written in here in like..38439874984 years, I decided to. Purely of my own volition, I assure you. So anyways, what's new.

I went to California this summer, and that was fun. Uh. Oh yeah, Covenant. Last week my highschool church group (and I) went to Flintstone, Maryland. It's so beautiful up there in the mountains. Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon. The weather was pretty nice, so we all slept outside one evening and watched shooting stars. There was a really big one that streaked across the sky. I took some pictures, but they're on film and not digital..so if we get our scanner set up then maybe I'll scan them.

Until then, goodbye.

I live in a communist-run household

Everyone receives equal food and allowance, but I am forced to put this on the website. Gah.

In 6000-2686 B.C., the first Egyptians began to settle along the banks of the Nile River. They eventually evolved from hunters and gatherers to settled farmers that irrigated water from the Nile. The Nile annually brought in a deposit of rich soil, which the farmers used for the crops. In April, the Nile was at its lowest level, which caused the vegetation to diminish and the game to move south. During the Paleolithic period, a revolution in food production occurred. The Egyptians stopped eating meat so much and switched to a more vegetarian diet. Plants such as wheat and barley were not gathered in the wild any longer, but farmers grew them abundantly as crops.
The head god of the Delta was Horus, the falcon-headed god. The name Horus comes from the Egyptian word ‘Hor’, which translates as ‘face’. Horus is crowned with the crown of all Egypt. While they reigned, Pharaohs identified themselves as Horus. After they died, they became Osiris, who was the god of the dead. The head god of Upper Egypt was Seth, who was the god of the desert, storm, and violence. He has an animal head with a long snout, and sometimes he has a forked tail. The king of the gods was Ra, who was showed shown by as a falcon crowned with a sun disk. During the day, Ra sailed across the heavens in a boat called the “Barque of Millions of Years”. At the end of the day, he was thought to die and sail on his night voyage to the Underworld. Ra was thought to have fought a snake called Apep, who was his chief enemy. Ra usually won, but on stormy days or eclipses, the Egyptians believed that Apep had been victorious and swallowed the sun.

Not a very good day...

Well, today was not very good. I know you're probably kinda tired about hearing me whine, but I don't care. Just don't read this, look at the pictures or something.

I had to get up at 9:30, which is early for me, and get ready to go to the ortho. Well, it's a new orthodontist place, and they told me that, although my old one told me I had only four more months yet, I had two get two years more treatment. So yea...i'm not very happy about that. Maybe i'll sue the other place for messing this up for me. So, I get to be a braceface for two more years. Joy..

I got pizza today, lol, maybe that was the only good part...? I dunno, I was just trying to find a good part. Umm...it stormed? I like it when it storms..it even hailed, lol!

So i'm just sitting on instant messenger right now waiting for someone to get on, because arlington started school today so everyone's probably either recovering the *excitment* or doing homework.

Well, I have to eat dinner now:)
Wow!!

Wow, I was thinking about it and i realized that this website was down for an incredibly long amount of time! I mean, me and Laura are OLD NEWS now. Lol, i'm just kidding. Me and laura had so much fun, we even have our own band now...*gasp*. We have a website for it but it's um...not ready for the public eyes yet because it's so beautiful it might harm them..*sigh*. What a shame..

Anyways, our band is really cool! We lipsync(sp?) other people's songs!! Isn't that awesome? Our first hit, Meant To Live (by Switchfoot) was on the top of the charts so look for it soon on our new cd coming out, Greatest Hits of the 21st century. Lol. Not really.

Well, it was really fun and if you go to my website you can see them!

There are also pictures of the last two weeks when my cousin Lynsey came down (or across?) to DC to visit us. We did lots of walking. Ouch.

Soo...i'm up in New York right now. My cousin laura wasn't sposed to come, but after MANY LONG HOURS on the phone, me and here *cough*....excuse me...LAURA AND I planned a trip for her to come to New York!! Haha...i'm soo excited because I haven't seen her for two years, and we're going to do the dufus circus again.
:)

Just in case you're wondering, i couldn't decide on a title for this entry so it's a smiley face...lol. I'm watching scooby doo right now and i'm playing mancala on <a href="http://www.whyville.net/smmk/nice"target="_blank"> whyville and i'm kinda bored, so i decided to submit a blog. We found a house that we liked yesterday, and this morning mama and daddy went to submit an offer on it but our realtor talked them out of it because it's in a bad school district. But, there's another house that we like(i loove it, personally) but it's in a really small neighborhood. It's a really cool house; it opens up into the basement where there's a little family room, then you walk up some stairs and you come to the living room and kitchen, then if you turn and walk up some more steps, they bring you to the bedrooms.

Anyways...I hope we get that house. We should be leaving DC on wednesday and coming back for good by the 28th.
